On occasion, an event comes together in a rare and wonderful way. Such was the case with the Pre-Valentine’s Day Poetry Reading featuring Ana Callan (Duet with Hummingbird, Three Muses Press) and Daniel Skach-Mills, (The Tao of Now, KenArnoldBooks). A lovely setting, a little wine, a lot of chocolate, and the presence of two remarkable poets.

Daniel’s poetry reminded listeners to “listen with their whole Being,”and by the rapt faces in the audience, his reminder was taken to heart. Positive reactions to both readings have been filtering in all weekend. One guest, Amber Johnson, sent a special message to say: “Through her reading of Duet with Hummingbird, Ana Callan offered a brief glimpse into the joyous and trying experiences of a thoughtful mind and passionate soul. I truly enjoyed the opportunity to visit her world.”
