Anjuelle in Paris. Keeper of Secrets author Anjuelle Floyd recently returned from a working vacation in Vienna and Paris, where she indulged her publisher by visiting "The Three Graces" at the Louvre Museum.

Explorations of the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay inspired Anjuelle, a process painter, to write an essay about the connection between visual arts and the written word. She promised to share with us how studying other disciplines improves the richness and emotional depth of a writer's work.

In the meantime, we'll enjoy a lovely photo of "The Three Graces."

Three Muses Commissions Artwork. Artist Lolly Jamerson has agreed to create a pencil drawing evoking the grace, beauty, and power of the Muses. The drawing will become part of our identity on the web and in print.

Lolly's gorgeous painting, "The Technicolor Trio," inspired a design overhaul for Three Muses. We hope to share it with you soon. Lolly's vibrant artwork will be featured in our online gallery. Stay tuned for an artist's bio, photo, and selected images of her drawings and paintings.

The artist's plans include translating the Three Muses logo (being designed as we speak!) into sterling silver and cloissoné jewelry.

Thank you for being our muse, Lolly!

Solstice Signing for Three Muses Press. On December 21, author/artist t. litwinchuk and Linda Meyer, publisher of Three Muses Press, celebrated the change of seasons with a barefoot, backyard signing of nothing but squares, a small-format art book of observations, affirmations, and realizations such as, "we all have the same amount of time" and "lose the shoes." Happiness awaits you—this 5" x 5" hardcover will be released in May 2007.
